The Q-Pads use 100% organic cotton for the top layer which is in contact with the skin and all absorbent material.

The Q-Strip is made of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plastic films, an inert medical grade adhesive, and a cotton linter filter paper commonly used for dried blood spot testing.

The Q-Pad does not contain PFAS, perfluoroalkyl or polyfluoroalkyl substances, natural rubber latex, or any toxins. The Q-Pad has been evaluated for Biocompatibility using ISO 10993 standards, including tests for Cytotoxicity, Irritation, and Sensitization.

The Q-Pad meets the following regulations:

• CALPROP 65 compliant
• REACH compliant which is a EU regulation enforcing that all chemicals and hazardous materials are listed.
• Manufactured under an ISO 13485 Compliant quality system
